Founded last year by a team of young keen volunteers from ASR, the study club has seen exceptional success by branching out to those in the local area who need help with their studies from a sophisticated team of young tutors who themselves have only recently seen the troubles and gains GCSEs can bring to the minds of young people. The club, assembled by a team of 10 young volunteers all in their first years of college, has developed on one aim and one aim only. Expanding today’s knowledge for tomorrow’s future. The club initially concentrated on the development of student close to taking their GCSE exams, as it allowed young people from the area to engage themselves with young tutors who themselves have only recently excelled in their own GCSEs. The Study Club not only provides crucial help to students who develop themselves better with focussed individual support, it also provides young students with an initiative that grants them access to mentors and professionals who could provide clear guidance and advice on future career paths and options. With the success of the club, the Study Club is currently under development to branch out to A-Level students from the start of the 2013/14 year of education.
