The highlight of the evening was the buzz created within the room and the enthusiasm of all the players, coaches and support staff in attendance. I must be honest and say that I did not know of the great work ASR Project does and this is something we need to highlight within our organisation to the wider football family and beyond.

The Big Talk
The BIG Talk – One of the very first significant projects delivered at the ASR Learning Centre was Luton’s first BIG Talk – a CV building workshop that worked in alliance with Global Island and Luton Sixth Form College. An array of influential figures from various professional fields within the local community were present, with each speaker giving the participants amazing pointers on how to become successful even when things are not looking so bright. A highlight of the event ensured that all the participants would receive a one to one consultation with a personal development officer, with the bonus of leaving with a fully fledged curriculum vitae that they are then able to use to seek employment. With participants numbering well above 30, ASR was once again able to cater for the needs of every participant by not only providing them influential advice for their future careers, but also allowing them to seek part time employment with the bonus of leaving with their very own CVs.
